In ARC Raiders, a zip line is more than a quick way to cross a gap. It is a loud, exposed route that can either rescue a squad from a bad position or place every player in clear view. Before moving, consider your supplies, nearby threats, and whether checking the latest ARC Raiders BluePrints can help you prepare for the area ahead.

The safest zip-line decisions come from treating movement as a trade-off. Speed matters when the zone is closing, an enemy squad is approaching, or your team needs to reach extraction quickly. However, distance gained means little if the route leaves you suspended above open ground with no cover on either side.

Choose the Route Before You Touch the Cable

Study the landing point first. Look for walls, vehicles, rocks, rooftops, or broken structures that can hide you immediately after arrival. A zip line ending in the middle of a street may save several seconds, but those seconds will not matter if opponents have a clean view of the destination.

Also inspect the starting position. If you are standing beside a bright doorway or exposed rooftop, an enemy may already be watching the cable. Move into cover before interacting with it, and avoid beginning the ride while teammates are still crossing an open area. A short delay can keep the whole squad from being caught in one predictable sequence.

Use Sound as Part of the Decision

Zip lines create a distinct audio signal, making stealth nearly impossible during the ride. Listen before committing. Distant footsteps, weapon handling, or movement around the landing zone may indicate that another player is close enough to react as soon as you arrive.

Sound awareness is especially important when escaping. If an opponent has already heard your squad, taking a cable may confirm your direction and make pursuit easier. In that situation, one player can move first while another watches the approach, giving the team information instead of sending everyone across at once.

Turn the Landing Into a Fighting Position

Do not step off the line and immediately sprint in a straight direction. Reach the end ready to move behind cover, break line of sight, or change elevation. Your first action should be planned before the ride begins, because the landing moment is when your options are most limited.

When crossing during PvP, stagger the timing between teammates. The first player can secure the landing area, the second can cover the cable, and the last can watch for a pursuit. If the destination is contested, cancel the move and reposition rather than forcing the entire squad into the same exposed route.

When a Zip Line Is Worth the Risk

A cable is most valuable when it connects two strong positions, shortens a dangerous rotation, or provides the only practical escape from pressure. It can also create a useful change of elevation when enemies expect you to remain on the ground.

The right question is not whether the zip line is fast. Ask whether the time saved improves your overall position. With a clear landing, controlled spacing, and enough awareness to read nearby sounds, the route can be decisive. Careful preparation, including access to cheap ARC Raiders BluePrints, can support better planning without replacing good judgment.
