Jackson Chourio's 99 OVR 2026 Postseason card is an exciting addition to Diamond Dynasty in MLB The Show 26. The Milwaukee Brewers outfielder combines excellent contact hitting with elite speed and defensive attributes, making him useful in several different lineup situations.
Available through the 2026 World Series Program, this card is worth pursuing if your team needs a reliable outfielder who can contribute on both sides of the game. Before working toward new roster upgrades, it's also worth keeping an eye on your MLB Stubs and planning how to use your in-game resources.
Jackson Chourio's 99 OVR Postseason Card
Chourio's postseason performance provides an interesting background to this release. On October 26, he recorded four hits in a World Series game, becoming the youngest player to achieve that feat since Joe Garagiola in 1946.
His 99 OVR card reflects the qualities that make him an exciting player to use: consistent contact, dangerous baserunning, and excellent outfield coverage.
Batting Attributes
Contact is easily the biggest strength of this card. Chourio has impressive ratings against both right-handed and left-handed pitchers, allowing him to remain productive regardless of the opposing starter.
His key hitting attributes include:
• Contact vs. Right: 125
• Contact vs. Left: 125
• Power vs. Right: 90
• Power vs. Left: 102
• Vision: 80
• Clutch: 116
With 125 contact against both pitching hands, Chourio doesn't need to be limited to a platoon role. His power against left-handed pitchers is also respectable, giving him another way to contribute when facing difficult matchups.
For batting order placement, the leadoff spot is a natural option. His contact ratings make him suitable for getting runners on base, while his speed creates additional scoring opportunities. If you prefer a more aggressive lineup, batting him second is another reasonable choice.
Elite Speed and Outfield Defense
What makes Chourio especially interesting is that his value doesn't stop at the plate. His defensive and baserunning attributes are among the strongest parts of the card.
Here are the numbers worth paying attention to:
• Speed: 99
• Stealing: 99
• Fielding: 99
• Arm Strength: 91
• Arm Accuracy: 99
Left field is his primary position, but he can also play center field and right field as secondary positions. This flexibility is useful when adjusting your lineup around other high-rated players.
His 99 speed and stealing also make him a serious baserunning threat. After reaching first base, look for opportunities to advance rather than automatically settling for the next hitter. However, pay attention to the pitcher, catcher, and game situation before attempting a steal.

99 OVR Postseason vs. 87 OVR Live Series
Don't confuse this Postseason reward with Chourio's 87 OVR Live Series card. They are separate versions with noticeably different attributes.
The Live Series version has 75 contact against right-handed pitchers, 103 contact against left-handers, 86 speed, and 75 fielding. The Postseason edition raises those numbers considerably, particularly in contact, speed, and defense.
For Diamond Dynasty players, the difference is significant. The 99 OVR version offers much more flexibility and is better suited to a competitive lineup. If you're planning additional Diamond Dynasty upgrades, comparing cheap MLB Stubs and your available roster-building options can help you decide where to focus next.
Is Jackson Chourio Worth Getting?
Absolutely, especially if you prefer outfielders who can do more than hit home runs. Chourio combines 125 contact against both pitching hands with 99 speed, 99 stealing, and 99 fielding. Few lineup roles take better advantage of that combination than leadoff hitter and everyday outfielder.
His power isn't as impressive as that of dedicated sluggers, but his ability to reach base, steal bags, and defend multiple outfield positions makes up for much of that difference. You can also check MLB Stubs for sale when reviewing your resource options.
